We take the protection of your personal data seriously. We process your data solely in accordance with the applicable legal provisions, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) and the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021). This privacy policy explains the key aspects of how we process data on our website and as part of our consulting services.

We are not legally required to appoint a data protection officer and have therefore not done so.

Our website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. We have concluded a data processing agreement with this provider in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. The servers are located in Germany and therefore within the European Union.

This data is used solely to ensure the secure and stable operation of the website and to analyse errors. It is not combined with other data sources. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functional website pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log files are automatically deleted after seven days.

Our website only uses technically necessary cookies. They are required to provide the website securely, for example for session management and to protect the contact form against misuse. These cookies are generally deleted when you close your browser.

We do not use any analytics, tracking or marketing cookies, and we do not embed any third-party services such as Google Analytics, external fonts or social media plugins.

The legal basis for technically necessary cookies is Section 165(3) TKG 2021 in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. No consent is required for these cookies. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time; however, this may limit the functionality of the website.

If you contact us via the contact form, by email or by phone, we process the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number and the content of your enquiry. Information submitted through the contact form is sent to us by email and is not stored in a database on the website.

We use this data solely to handle your enquiry and to answer any follow-up questions. Where your enquiry relates to a contract or to pre-contractual steps such as a consultation, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. In all other cases, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Your data will be deleted once your enquiry has been fully dealt with and no further communication is expected, and in any case after six months at the latest. If a consultation or contract follows, the retention periods set out in Section 5 apply.

As part of our consulting and customer support, we process the data needed to make a suitable recommendation and to handle the order. This includes your contact details, information about your home or business location, your water test results, the technical conditions on site, your requirements, and contract and billing data.

The legal basis is the performance of a contract or the implementation of pre-contractual measures pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, as well as compliance with legal obligations, in particular tax and commercial retention requirements, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Some consultations are carried out by our partner Michael Hochleitner. He is provided with the customer data required for consulting and support. Michael Hochleitner processes this data exclusively on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions (Art. 28 GDPR).

We retain contract and billing data for seven years due to legal obligations (Section 132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code (BAO) and Section 212 of the Austrian Business Code (UGB)). Beyond that, we store data for as long as it is needed for customer support, for example for maintenance or filter replacement, or for as long as claims arising from the contractual relationship can be asserted.

We do not pass your data on to any other third parties, and in particular not for advertising purposes. Your data is not transferred to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area. We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling.

You are not legally or contractually obliged to provide your data. However, without your contact details we cannot respond to your enquiry, and without the information needed for the consultation we cannot make a suitable recommendation.

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
